700 quid on an accy + 5 fold - 6 bets @ 10 = 60 quid last August. Cardiff, QPR, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Man C. Had to wait til Mon night to watch City demolish Liverpool 3-0. Thought about laying it off.

It was my only footy bet of last year apart from league winners accy that only Brighton came in on and didn't return.

Never topped 300 quid before that one.

Also had 3 of them in a £5 patent for another £200+. Cleaned out the Coral in Surrey St by the station. The bloke after me was told they didn't have the £50 needed to pay him! I did apologise to him.

Managed a couple of £450 wins this year, backed Ballabriggs @25/1 & 20/1 for the National, and had a £10 double at Cheltenham, Hurricane Fly @ 5/1 with Long Run @ 13/2. I was on course watching the Gold Cup thought my heart was going to smash out of my chest.

Roll on winter, get shot of this flat rubbish!

Sounds like you need to pass on some of those tips!!

I won £450 quid on the Man U - Millwall cup final a while back. Got 45-1 for 3-0 with Ronaldo to score first and chucked an ayrton on it. I then followe dthis up with England winning 3-0 and beckham to score first at slightly lower odds. Funny how these things happen. Never won anything before or since.

My betting career started and ended last week. In a panic about Gus going to AV, I followed someone else's lead and bet £100, with Corals at 25/1 that he would be their next manager, so that if he did leave my 5 season tickets would be paid for, by way of a consolation. I was also given a free £25 bet by Corals, and, again, followed someone's tip on here and put it on Deacon Blue in the 4.25 at Ascot on Saturday. Well, it romped home at 8/1 and I won £200.

So Gus stays and I'm £100 better off, win double:thumbsup: I will now quit while I am ahead.
