Following a little debate with a friend.

Personally think Gerrard for sure, Safe thinks Drogba.

I predict a close poll, up the Didier:clap2:

I had some free Chelsea tickets in august, (when Albion weren't at home) with Drogba it isn't just the diving it's the relentless whinging to the ref which you never see on tv, i found it comical, he is honestly like a little toddler, he was through on goal against Burnley and no need to go down - so he did anyway. He put on a little limp walked off, came back on a couple of minutes later to continue whinging to the referee.

Yeh, definately. I do not deny that when he gets tackled, he rolls around and acts like an idiot.

However in terms of diving, Gerrard wins it for me.

Depends on what you define as a dive.

I don't think there's any question drogba is needlessly on the floor more than gerrard, but sometimes that's more faking injury to waste time, interrupt opponent's momentum, hide shame of failing to score etc and not necessarily throwing yourself to the floor to win a freekick/penalty.

I also think it's worth mentioning that drogba's dives are more noticeable, and so perhaps stick out in the mind more.

Gerrard is a DESPERATE man now, and he throws himself to the deck at all opportunities. Drogba winds me up, but Gerrard pisses me off, so I vote him.

Drogba dives more, but doesn't whinge as much as the bin dipper when he goes down expecting, nay, DEMANDING he should be awarded a free kick. I loved it, fooking LOVED IT, when the Gooners chinned them yesterday.

Gerrard has mastered the old Ronaldo trick of making sure he pokes a leg out onto a defender after he loses control of the ball, then going down faster than Katie Price at a UFC post-fight party. He did it twice yesterday.

I would love to meet the scouse **** in a bar with his chav mates and see if he'd like me to change the music because he's STEVEN GERRARD.

For some reason "Stevie G" gets on my tits far more than Drogba, so irrespective of the truth, I'm voting for him.

Now that Liverpool are out of pretty much everything, hopefully our Stevie will deem England friendlies worthy of his time (because sadly he remains a decent international midfielder)

Overall Drogba, because he seems prepared to dive anywhere on the pitch.
Penalty area Gerrard, he tends to restrict his diving to the penalty area.

That's a dive IMO. But as Acker79 it depends on what you define as a dive.
