Currently in dicks bar - Building work going on - asked what was happening and was told new bar going in and capacity being increased to 350 .... Ready for the Liverpool game.

Am I right in tinking that originally the capacity was 250 but they were letting in 300?? Working on that logic Dicks is gonna be mental with 400 people in 'high spirits'

popped home for the weekend just gone, made the error of texting my mate saying 'i like the look of dicks, fancy one?'.

incidently while we were there we managed to walk in and have a look around pitchside, it was my first look at our beautiful new home. well happy

Smart move by the club, bigger bar = more punters = more cash = better players. Been in there before and after every game so far and theres always a queue to get in, it wasn't big enough really. Good work.

At the risk of asking a dumb question - while I appreciate it will ease congestion and speed up service at the first bar, how will that extra bar increase the capacity?

Could it be that the capacity was linked to the amount of punters that could be served at any one time?

I'm sure theres room for way more than 250/300 in there considering the Honeyclub before reburb used to hold 550 and probably wasn't as big as Dicks.
