Who? I looked him up on wikipedia and all I got is the avuncular retired 81 year old ex drummer with The Stranglers

Very droll, I try so hard to avoid his image I've partially erased his name. ( Jack of course)

I was really quite fond of Jet in his day ..
81??!!wow.

I wasn't being funny - I was genuinely bemused :lolol:

I am delighted to say that Jack Black has never had the pleasure of performing before my eyes, and I am (clearly) barely aware of his existence. Which would appear to be a good thing. :rave::thumbsup:

Ewan McGregor.

Professional Scotsman right up his own arse. Who doesn’t even live there.

Trainspotting would’ve been nothing without Begbie, Spud and Sickboy. And Danny Boyle.

I've always thought the face Bruce Willis pulls in every film he appears in looks like he's just had a small finger inserted in his anus, so for that reason I have developed a dislike for him. BruceWillis.jpg

Yet the film High Fidelity was made solely for you, in the hope others might also enjoy it.

Nah - not having this.

There hasn't been one big name film star mentioned in this thread that can't be linked to a decent film.

You've all got cabin fever.

I'm going to have to walk away, because I just don't understand the central premise and I don't want to be accused of arguing for arguing sake, again, (despite not arguing the last time either! )

For example I'm guessing you don't like/have never seen The Wolf of Wall Street

At the time this thread started I was watching The Usual Suspects, for the x th time.

I've never seen the Wolf of Wall Street, but whether I would like it or not has nothing to do with Leonardo do Caprio being in it.

I don't like Michael Caine AS A PERSON, but would thoroughly enjoy Get Carter, Zulu or the Italian Job.

Whatever the sphere of entertainment, it's possible, surely, not to like someone but to like what they produce. I really like a lot of Morrissey's music, but the man himself seems to be a total #@$%.

Gotta defend Dustin Hoffman. Just rewatched Rain Man last night and he's genius. One of the first date movies I ever saw was The Graduate, also genius. Likewise Midnight Cowboy. Method actor par excellence.

Few I can't tolerate. But then again I'm still on the fence with Basil Brush after all these years. Always struck me like he had something up his behind. And that "Oooo-ooooh Mr. Rodney." What was that?

And don't get me started on Roland Rat. :annoyed:

West is BEST
Will Ferrell makes me physically sick. His thick, porcine skin folds and wiry, ginger hair turn my stomach.

Ryan Gosling. No rational reason why, just find him a bit rodenty looking.
Jeff Goldblum, for playing a smug t**t in the Jurassic Park films.

Another vote for Nicholas Cage. Utter, utter ballbag.

Hugh Grant, one dimensional and shit at it.

I used to think that, but I saw him in The Gentlemen and thought he was very good,
