Beautiful. 21 years old. Long blonde hair. Just under 6 feet tall. Legs that go on for ever. Great back story - monumental comeback from a year out with a debilitating virus. And actually ALRIGHT at her sport.

The world is hers.

Should have known how similar it would be to the football when she almost took defeat from the jaws of victory but won through in the end.

Excellent work clippedgull

Katie (and her doubles partner, er, Katie) third up, after a mens doubles match that has just started, and another ladies doubles. Should be KATIE(S) TIME about 2.30pm - 3.00pm.

Very much delayed, due to the mens matches going the distance, but it is finally Katie(s) time. :clap2:

Court Nine.

Katie v Osaka 18th Seed.

Gonna be a toughie as Osaka beat Katie 6-1 6-2 a couple of weeks back in Nottingham

but I've taken the plunge

Katies goes home with £63k if she loses, but a minimum of £100k if she progresses!

Looks like Karl Pilkington.

In a wig, FFS. AND the whole thread is a wee bit gymslip pervy, don't you think? It is a no from me. No. Fact.

I was on 14 yesterday for the Bouchard/Boulter double bill - incredible scenes. I used all my remaining phone battery on Genie, not realising how strong an athlete Katie is! Didn't see her today, Harriet Dart is a tough girl to watch. I saw her match on monday with a half asleep Pliskova, it was far too easy for the big Czech but to be fair to Harriet, she fought back to take the second set when nobody in the crowd thought she was anything more than a waste of a wildcard.
