Between the Skids and Big Country they played as the Stuart Adamson band. I saw them as support for Alice Coopers Special Forces tour at the Brighton Centre. As I recall it the SAB were really poor, after their second or third song their drummer threw his sticks into the crowd, and the crowd promptly threw both sticks back at him.

Saw the current incarnation of BC at the pavilion theatre in Worthing a couple of years ago, it didn’t really do it for me, but they seemed polished and well rehearsed.

They are the band that currently occupy no 1 slot in my personal 'time elapsed between consecutive gigs by the same band'.

Yes - supporting David Bowie at Wembley Stadium, circa 1986(?)

Yes. The Crossing is still great. In a Big Country is in the top 20 tunes of all time. FACT.

No. Remind me who they were again...
Same tour but at Cardiff Arms Park. Great band.

As with others supporting Bowie. They were excellent. Went to see them as headliners a couple of times after that.

Stuart Adamson's daughter is well worth seeing live if you get a chance.
