Sad list. Put's Tottenham's current plight into some sort of perspective. Oh, and the Big 4 have won 35 trophies since Villa's League Cup win in 1996.

1. Sheff Utd 83 years (1925 FA Cup)
2. Bolton 50 years (1958 FA Cup)
3. Birmingham City 45 years (1963 League Cup)
4. Queens Park Rangers 41 years (1967 League Cup)
5. West Bromwich Albion 40 years (1968 FA Cup)
6. Newcastle United 39 years (1969 UEFA Cup)
7. Stoke City 36 years (1972 League Cup)
8. Sunderland 35 years (1973 FA Cup)
9. Derby County 33 years (1975 League Championship)
10.Manchester City 32 years (1976 League Cup)
11.Southampton 32 years (1976 FA Cup)
12.Wolverhampton Wanderers 28 years (1980 League Cup)
13.West Ham United 28 years (1980 FA Cup)
14.Ipswich Town 27 years (1981 UEFA Cup)
15.Nottingham Forest 18 years (1990 League Cup)
16.Sheffield Wednesday 17 years (1991 League Cup)
17.Leeds United 16 years (1992 League Championship)
18.Everton 13 years (1995 FA Cup)
19.Aston Villa 12 years (1996 League Cup)

If you think back to the summer of 1992 at the start of the Premier League then top flight football was extremely competitive. How things have changed.

Very interesting list, but a good point about the Football League title. These days that is arguably worth including alongside, if not above, the League Cup.

And Paxton, I'd give it a rest about Arsenal if I were you. No Arsenal fan would swap their situation for yours, and every Spurs fan would swap your set-up for theirs. You won't ever find them bottom with two points approaching November.

Arsenal are my team for the Champions League this season. Enjoyed watching Man U take it last time, don't think I'll ever want Chelsea to win it, Liverpool have done it before, so Arsenal all the way for me this time, comon the Gunners!!!

I imagine a few of those, in addition to the already mentioned West Brom, will have won league titles or play-off trophies in recent years?

Some of those teams have won the paint pot trophy (or whatever it used to be called) in more recent years.

I'm not counting minor trophies because I don't think winning, say, the Championship trophy means very much to your older Wolves, Derby or Forest fan, and I don't suppose if Leeds win the League 1 trophy this year it will satisfy Leeds fans 16-year cup famine.

Okay then, the Albion have never won anything at all, EVER!! That's a 107 year trophy famine!!
