Big club mentality or appreciation of where we have come from?

I don't see how expecting players to try to play their best and have a good go during a cup match is related solely to those people who believe we are a big club.

It's more like a basic requirement at any size of football club.

Any club that meets the 3 criteria
a) decent 20,000+ stadium
b) good manager
c) relatively debt-free

Stands a chance of not only getting into the Prem but also finishing as high as 8th. In terms of promotion, history is meaningless - Wigan didn't even exist 50 years ago.

Are We not just allowed to enjoy the posistion We are in and not to worry weather We are a big or small club. Surely at the moment we are neither, but as someone has already said it takes years. Let's just enjoy the moment.
