Iwelumo is a big lump who looked marginally better than McCammon - but then we never saw him against Championship defenders.

A mate of mine who's a Stoke fan said he did reasonably well to help get them promoted but was rubbish at this level.

Can't see he's one we've "missed out" on really. Wasn't that great.

Nothing special but I would much rather have him than any one of our other strikers at this moment (bar CKR).

Yet another example of a player that Mcghee fell out with and a player that got slagged off in the press by Mcghee.

The racist card again. Pathetic.

I think you're barking up the wrong tree with that load of old shit,to suggest that mcghee doesn't like players because of their skin colour is pure evil:angry:

Yeah but be honest, that was what you implied....

I'm saying he seems to have a problem managing black players, I'm not sure that makes him an outright racist.

It's an interesting - and libellous - suggestion. I would bear in mind the internet is not entirely anonymous before throwing those sort of accusations about, even in jest.

It wasn't a libellous statement and I have said further on that I don't think Mcghee is racist, he wouldn't sign players of colour in the first place if he was, surely!!

"DWAYNE IN BASELESS ACCUSATION SHOCKER"
Controversial NSC upstart Dwayne shocked fellow posters today when he claimed that Albion manager Mark McGhee was a racist goon who has a problem with negros. In a no-holds-barred message, the well known ginger roid-guzzler stated that:

* McGhee was completely UNABLE to get on with black players
* McGhee has a FETISH for slagging negros off in the press.

MARMALADE
Dwaynes stunning claims were further backed up by the fact that McGhee has only ever thrown, or tried to throw negro players off the team coach. Promising black winger Albert Jarrett has been banished to Swindon, striker Mark McCammon is being offloaded, and proud white Scotsman McGhee is also know to enjoy a marmalade sandwich - a brand which was forced in recent years to ditch its GOLLYWOG mascot after complaints of racist stereotyping.

No-one at the club was available for comment, but Dwayne was unrepentent in his views. "Its quite clear that McGhee hates blacks" he said, before pumping some iron, buttoning up his Versace shirt and heading off to Chinawhites in his Range Rover for a bit of a chinwag with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

I'm not having a go at you for the fun of it. But to effectively call somebody racist IS libellous, whether you like it or not.

I'm sure it's very unlikely that Mark McGhee would want to sue for something written on here, but it's probably best not to put it to the test. Unless, of course, you can PROVE it to be true.

A lot of excuses for McGhee mistakes in judgement! The rumour is that McGhee told Parkinson to sign him.
What I'd really like to know is why didn't MM sling Big Chris off the coach?
Because he wouldn't turn up to get on it in the first place?
