Firstly, yes I know Tim Krul was with us for a short time - did he play any games though?

Secondly, I wouldn’t like Sanchez to be sold, and you’re right I’m not sure we have anyone of his quality in the Albion ranks.

No, he didn't, but obviously wanted to be number one somewhere so went to Norwich when his contract ran out.

Krul made 5 appearances for us. The league cup loss to Bournemouth and 4 Fa Cup games including wins over Palace, Boro and Coventry and the QF loss to Man Utd. He never made a league appearance though.

Edit see it’s already been covered.

Including the 2-1 FA Cup win over Palace, that featured the first ever use of VAR in a pro game in England.

Thanks. I thought he had, but when I looked it up on Wiki (sorry) it said 0 apps.

Already corrected.

So Newcastle paid £13m for a 29 year old uncapped fourth choice centre half with 18 months on his contract but expect to get a 20 year old Spanish international first choice keeper whose on a long term deal for £20m

Absolutely ridiculous and we should tell them where to shove it. Double it or don’t both bidding .

People think Lallana & Welbeck are crocks. Wilson has missed more games than both combined in the last 2 seasons

Is this the Wilson who is on £130 grand a week and is always injured? How many goals has Wood scored this season?

Are You really a Brighton fan?

Well Wood has scored more than Welbeck so that’s an upgrade.

Anyway you bore me and are clearly a troll so on to ignore you go. Bye now.

I was only being tongue in cheek about Wilson but interestingly both Wilson and Welbeck have started 41 games each over the last two seasons. Welbeck does have a lot more sub appearances I will grant you, 16 v 4.

Yet Wilson has 18 goals to Welbecks 9.

Anyway, we clearly can’t afford him so it’s all irrelevant anyway.

Not going to blame Jason for the result today as it is very difficult to save those.

But with Sanchez additional 10 centimetres, one of those goals are saved.

Now when Roberto has made a decision to swap keeper... I think he should stick with it or it becomes a bit of a farce. But whether it is the right call to win Brighton the maximum number of points until the end of the season... f*** knows.

Robert Sanchez is the best goalkeeper in the squad. Jason may fit RDZ a little bit better. I remember a similar situation for Graham in Swansea: Erwin Mulder was the better keeper, but Nordfeldt was better at doing what GP wanted him to do, so he went with Nordfeldt and to this day I wonder if it was the right call or if going with the "easier" choice would have meant a place in the playoffs.

Obviously both Graham and Roberto are braver than I am or they wouldn't reach this far, but while I understand you want a keeper who fits your style, I'm not sure that the difference between Sanchez style and Steeles style is big enough to warrant this change.

Wasn’t there today - so perhaps the overall gameplay was superior to Sánchez… but on first viewing of the 2nd goal my immediate thought was “Sanchez saves that”.

And I think he does because those types of high shots is what he does better than pretty much anyone. On the other hand I'm not equally certain he saves the two or three low shots Jason saved against West Ham in the first half.
