It was indeed horrible. You couldn't even get the kiddies a normal ice cream; my nephew spat his all over the grass and I only just managed to stomach mine. Dire.

The (infamous) ice-cream crops up a lot in discussion about that place.

Nipped down to the lagoon this afternoon. Norm hasn't done anything much with the place yet, but pleased to report the menu is now suitably broad (for a cafe). Half a dozen good looking veggie options alongside burgers, bacon rolls, chips, etc. And real ice cream. And coffee made with MILK.
Normal MILK or funny MILK?

Mostly the laws of supply and demand rule; if the public want them they do well, if they don't then they go out of business.
Proper normal MILK, thank goodness.
And was the coffee made out of coffee, or mung beans?

I've given up on drinking coffee out. Most of them make me feel incredibly nauseous. What do they put in the milk?
