L&G is going through a restructuring programme. The protection and savings division looks likely to have a 10% reduction in headcount (600 job losses). The offices in Birmingham , Cardiff , Kingswood (Surrey) and Hove will bear the brunt of the cuts. Will they split the redundancies across the sites or close an office knowing that 95% will opt for a redundancy payout rather than transfer to another location ?

Should say "L&G is going through "another" restructuring programme, this time to put back together the constituent parts they created last time they restructured." And so it goes on, more smart arses thinking what they are doing is something new - the merrygoround goes on and on. More misery for an overworked and stressed bunch of good people.

Having worked at BT for nearly 23 years the word "restructuring" was never a good word to hear.
