Is that just to the press? Pocchetino got the same criticism when he went to Southampton, but really he only wanted to speak to the press in English when he felt he was good enough so not to be mis-interpreted.

In 1985, Bielsa was working in youth development for Newell’s Old Boys when he visited the Pochettino family household in the town of Murphy, Sante Fe accompanied by his colleague, Jorge Griffa. Seemingly nothing strange about that, scouts normally visit potential player’s families before signing them.

However, this meeting was at 2am and the story goes that he asked Pochettino’s parents if he could see their 13-year-old sleeping son’s legs. “He looks like a footballer,” he declared, and they signed him on the spot. Bielsa had never seen the young Pochettino play.

I'd love it. Personally I want to enjoy going to football again and Bielsa would make it fun. The football his teams play is usually incredible.

The only issue is how long term the project would be. He's not known to stay around at sides for many years because he wears players out with his methods and his intensity.
