I don't believe it as Victor Meldrew would say - The new football season starts this Saturday, with an intriguing fixture for the Albion & a rare first match at home too!

The Seagulls, now in their 4th season in the Championship & 4th season at The Amex, meet The Owls, who are now in their 3rd consecutive season at this level. Whilst BHA have had some success, 10th, 4th & 6th in the league, Sheffield W have struggled 18th & 16th. However, on paper, we appear weaker than last campaign & they stronger.

Our record against Sheffield W is poor. Only 5 wins, 10 draws & 12 defeats. Last season was 1-1 at The Amex & a 1-0 defeat at Hillsborough.

As for the Score Predictor - we are also in our 4th season. The rules are simple:

Post a score before kickoff
If you select Other - you must let me know what the actual score is
For cup games, the score is at 90 minutes
1 point for a correct score
It is just for fun - so no prizes!

Yes - for every game we don't allow any scores to count towards the competition until kick off starts.

Fortunately, it is very rare for someone to post a score post kick off.
