BHA take on Newcastle for the second year at home in the lunchtime kickoff on Saturday.
Our record against the geordies in recent times has been excellent. Indeed we are undefeated against Newcastle (home & away) in the last 5 games. Overall the sides have met 17 times, with honours even, 7 wins each & 3 draws.
Newcastle's away form of late is poor, with only Reading having a worse record in the last 6 outings. One win, one draw & 4 defeats on the road. Albion are inconsistent at home of late. 2 wins, 3 draws & 1 defeat.
However, we are talking about the Cup & as we all know, anything can happen!
Predicting Albion scores these days is harder than finding an answer to get the economy back on strike, finding a new club for David Beckham or choosing which pie to consume at the next Amex game!
