BHA v Liverpool - Score Predictor

BHA (16th) entertain high flying Liverpool (2nd) for Saturday's lunchtime kick off. With Klopp complaining about the number of fixtures, the Seagulls should have a slight upper hand - though with the quality & depth of their squad BHA will almost certainly be underdogs. Our record against Liverpool is awful, with only 4 wins, 8 draws & 19 defeats. We have lost all of our last 9 meetings which includes 5 home defeats on the trot.

Albion home wins are becoming rare. No home wins this season in 4 matches. If you look at last season as well - we are winless at home in 8 matches! Thankfully our away form is keeping our heads above water. IF & it's a BIG IF we could beat Liverpool the Seagulls could climb the table a couple of places or more & give us some breathing space over the bottom 3.

As always - use your head. You decide ..........

0-3 (Liverpool) - never expect anything against a team of this calibre (especially as we won't have Lamptey for this game), but just hope we can avoid conceding a humiliating, confidence-damaging, 7 or 8 goals, and keep it down to a respectable 2 or 3 goal defeat.

I'm hoping we get a point, or even a win, 2-2 isn't out of the question.

back to earth with a bump, it'll be an enetertaining game but just like the early 80's we'll be frail in defence and lose 4-1

Liverpool will be cream-crackered, depleted and we will be quite fresh and get at them.

2-1

Do you think this the same kind of defeatist attitude that Villa displayed when they beat them 7-2?
I hope the players and coaches at our club don’t think like you!

3-2 UTA.

I reckon an open game with quite a few goals.
Liverpool will come at us which will leave a lot of space behind them which will suit maupay and Welbeck.
Lalanas quality will really show in this game and I have a feeling bissouma will be outstanding and Jahanbaksh could be the dark horse of this fixture.
3-2 to the Albion

0-2.. plenty of endeavour, plenty of plaudits about trying to take the game to Liverpool, plenty of patronising from Klopp, but inevitably we get caught.
That said, it would not be a total shock to see us get a point - i could actually see 0-0, which seems daft given our lack of clean-sheets and their fire-power, but Veltman will strengten us defensively, and with Bissouma/White in the middle of the park making it very difficult for them for long periods, it will weaken our attacking options. For a change, it would be great to get to half-time without gifting them a goal somehow!

We haven't won at home this season in pl (in fact only twice in last year out of 17 starts) and they haven't won away (albeit with some tough opposition other than the wacky Villa result) but anyone who fancies more than the ritual defeat is dreaming IMO. 1-3.
