Please note that due to holiday commitments the score predictor results are unlikely to be updated until after Birmingham game. Also the Score Predictor thread for the Blackburn & Birmingham matches will appear by mid-week:

BHA 2nd meet Leeds 4th under the Amex lights on Friday night, knowing that a win could propel the seagulls (for at least 24 hours or so) to the top of the league. Leeds could move into the top 3 with a win, so all to play for!

Albion have a fine record against Leeds, doing the double last season, with a 2-1 away win at Elland road & a 4-0 thumping at home with Hemed scoring twice, an og & Dunk hitting the onion bag. Indeed our fine record stretches back to some 11 past meetings, with Leeds only winning once in this sequence, back at the Withdean in a League 1 match 3-0 in November 2009.
Head to head, Leeds still have the upper hand (just) with 15 BHA wins, 11 draws & 17 defeats.

So can the seagulls keep their unbeaten run going & stretch it to 14 matches? With Albion top in the league (average points at home) 2.3 a game, they will have to be in fine form, as Leeds are in their highest position of the season so far. On the road they have found a winning formula, having beaten Rotherham, Norwich & Wolves all away in their past 3 away meetings, on top of wins at Cardiff & Sheffield Wednesday. Their average away points is 1.67 (4th in the league).

So what is going to give? As for our leaderboard - it's still close as well

Leeds are on a roll and will be high in confidence after dispatching Villa. We on the other hand are not playing well at all, too many players off form. Thankfully our defence are still on top of their game which is making the difference between losing and drawing so far.

We need midfield and wide players to get back on form if we're going to get anything out of the next few games, however I think this game will come too soon for them to find our form.
Our only hope is that the B&M team come up with a goal or two.

0-1

BHA 1 2 Leeds

(of course I hope I am wrong)

We will sneak past them. A 2-0 half time lead for the Albion with Leeds pulling one back midway through the 2nd half.

Can only hope it's half as entertaining as least season's fixture :lolol:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/29/brighton-leeds-championship-match-report

'The Leeds manager, Steve Evans, was told not to speak to the media by the club’s owner, Massimo Cellino, after his side were thrashed 4-0 at Brighton on Monday night, leaving assistant Paul Raynor to account for a “shambolic” first half.

The fourth-placed Seagulls scored four times in the space of 20 minutes before the interval to boost their automatic promotion challenge in front of a crowd of 25,150 at the Amex Stadium – although the Italian Cellino did not stay for the second half.'
