Hi Everyone - haven’t been in good old NSC for ages, hence the need for a new account.

Off to Philly this weekend - anyone got any excellent suggestions about a good spot to catch the Palace game?

Sorry if I’m missing any key ‘first post’ etiquette, feel free to flame away if I deserve it!

Id be surprised if you find anywhere tbh with Superbowl fever hitting Philadelphia this week, & the Eagles taking on the Chiefs on Sunday.
TV channels in bars will be focused on the build up to the game and nothing else I would imagine.
May be some place somewhere showing it, but you'll be surrounded by EAGLES fans everywhere you go!

And yet he'll probably be able to find the Wrexham game!

The Albion are on Peacock,.so it won't be tucked away on channel 19748!

To the contrary, kicking off with a look-at-me 'anyone know a pub showing the game in' post is admirable.

How are your fish puns though?

There was a thread on Philadelphia a few years back and I notice we have a poster that lives there. @Marlton and Hove Albion? Not sure if he still posts on here though.
Still here but no longer living in Philly!!!! But oddly enough, going back to Philly to be with friends and family for the SB this weekend.

Not sure if the game is being played on USA Channel, as that will determine IF you can see the game. Most EPL games are now shown on Peacock (NBC Streaming) and doubtful bars will broadcast those games.

Look for the local Irish Pubs, as they are most likely. There are 3 or 4 in Center City (if that is where you're going to be).

One of the pubs ODDLY affiliated with Palarse. Probably your best, worst bet.

Funnily enough my only ever visit to Philly concept restaurant Passyunk Avenue (the one near the BT Tower) was before Palace away last season. Couple of Palace fans in there too.
