Who has £600M in a Betfair account?.......that sounds too much even for one of the high street bookies (Ladbrokes, Hills).

Im saying that "they" use virtual money. There were a lot of rumours they were doing that before the incident in question.

On other matters, I was told over a year ago to watch out for when Last Destination next runs at Hamilton

Well, it runs tonight at 21.20 and is currently 8-1. Wouldn't go mad but the person who tells me these things gets more right than wrong.

Thanks for that, looks like its got a chance at the weights if its trying tonight. Distance and ground look fine, its not ran at Hamilton before but that might not matter, jockey is better than its usual one. Interesting that when its won (three times) its been favourite each time, suggesting that the connections know when to back it, any late money could well be significant.

Just my kind of race this, 1M grade 6....shame its not at Southwell!!!

That is what bothers me, its been on the drift marginally today if anything (I've had oddschecker open most of the day) but being back to a mile and over the track we were advised to bet on has caused me to put hand in pocket.

Perhaps they'll back it at the track tonight, change of tactics.

The race doesn't look that strong, they'll not get a much better opportunity than this, perhaps King Of Paradise is the danger (unexposed and backed).

The trainer has done a fantastic job in getting the handicap mark down 14lbs in 6 races :)

A lot of fancied horses drift prior to the race. There's plenty of people who push the price out on betfair, on create false moves on other horses, to get a better price on the one they actually want to be on. Then they trickle the money on for a few hours with the books at better prices before it gets hammered again later on. Not saying this will happen tonight but it does happen at least once every day.

Lets see. Certainly no liquidity in the markets at the moment so its difficult to tell and, as I say, the info is a year old. Opening show is when we find out and I decide to top up or not.

Could have laid at 1.44 in running. Naturally, didn't follow my own advice from earlier in this thread.
