Someone I know had a correct score double yesterday on Everton 1-1 Sunderland and Tottenham 3-0 Bolton. He got paid out on the single and the other match was void due to the awful circumstances. He felt terrible collecting his winnings as the match was not completed so he's decided to donate it to charity which is a very kind thing to do as he'd have lost his bet if it wasn't for Fabrice Muamba.

I'm no expert but if you knew at the time of placing the bet that the winnings would exceed the payout limit could you not place several smaller bets with the same online company?

On Betfair multiples if the payout (at projected BFSP) exceeds £1M they warn you when placing your bet.

No that wouldn't be allowed. You could get a friend to place exactly the same bet though.

Thats only because the most someone can win or lose is £1m according to their T&C's. So if someone places a bet that comes to more than that then they could claim the money back off Betfair. They dont care about you at all
