Did the usual over 0.5 draw combo and backed 0-0 at 17.5 on Betfair, was hoping it would be 0-0 on 85 minutes to lay a bit off but sadly it never got that far. Also had £2 on first goal a penalty. So a small loss for me.

Well done winners.

Will need to learn how to do this properly for the next time they do this offer, I always manage to cock it up. Would be nice to get some guaranteed money from it each time.

Annoyed with self. I missed the boat again having set an alarm on my phone for 7.30. Went for walk with the dog at 7.15, leaving the phone at home. Got back at 7.47 having missed placing the pre-match (> 0.5) bet. I'd have gone for the City win.

Convinced PSG would go all-out and get one, I resisted the temptation to cash out after City's goal having done the old +0.5 goals/draw combo.

Currently deciding how best to spend my £1.50 winnings.

To those fearing a ban for taking advantage of 365's very generous offers, I have news…

Having won hundreds doing this over the past year or so - with just a few quid bets in between - I just got a £5 loyalty bonus.

Me too.

Bet365 is surely the best sports book around. There are some other good ones around (big and small) but Bet365's offers are just fantastic. Obviously there is this £50 risk free one, and the insanely good Grand National offer, but their 4/1+ horse racing promotion is absolutely fantastic too. I do that one daily. :)

I've had a few of these from Bet365 in the past year, but if you really want a £5 loyalty bonus paid out every single Monday then you need to be betting £25 per week with either SkyBet or BetStars, both of whom will do exactly that.

always do same thing with these myself.. double chance home/away win pre game (usually fetches around £15 profit). Then draw inplay (usually fetches around £80-£100 clear profit).

When you lads do the other Bet365 promotions, like the sign up, 4/1 horse, £50 in play etc, do yous manage to guarantee profit every time? Or a lot of the time are yous just having a punt and enjoying the extra money that you may get now and then? I'm trying to look at ways to work these promotions so I can lock in guaranteed profit each time kind of thing.

I get a guaranteed profit on the footy one, withdraw any big winnings and then use anything remaining (less than a tenner) for little bets on the live matches, the off horse race etc. Didn't go all out on the Grand National offer as it all got a little complicated.

what's a double chance home/away win?

A double chance home/away win is when you have both outcomes (either the home win or the away win) covered in a single bet. Typically the odds are short say 1/3 because both outcomes are covered so the profit is small. The beauty is if we also bet the draw in running when the offer is available you can lock in a profit since the draw bet stake will be returned should it not be a draw. If it is a draw you lose the double/chance bet but make an overall profit from the in play draw. Haven't tried this myself but believe graz126 is right and this will almost always lock in a profit.
