I won (betting on the half-time draw) and then placed my in-play bet (a losing full-time draw bet) but didn't pick the "banker" option when it came up

I also had a wee winning bet on more than 2.5 goals in the Albion game which I mention here only because it makes me feel a tiny bit smug in the context of my otherwise disastrous existence

They will give you your money back any minute for the in play losing bet. That's risk free whatever happens mate...! So you won!

Ps you're better doing the pre match bet on something very likely like over 0.5 goals in game or under 3.5 goals half time. Then either waiting til there's a goal or half time and presuming the first bet has landed you know the in play one really is risk free...

People need to stop drawing attention to it... Like 60 page thread on a football forum

I think they probably feel it's worth it overall as it gets people making accounts and using the site. Plus some will go more risky plus some will end up spunking their deposit if they don't win out of frustration. It's always worth sending the odd tweet like '@bet365 have the offer on X game - I'll be using that account all week now!'
