That Ladbrokes offer is on tonight. Not quite as good as the Bet365 one we all love, as it has two differences:
1) only £25 rather than £50
2) pre match bet has to be 1/2 or greater.

Still, I think it's worth sharing. Pre match bet close to 1/2 (perhaps a total goals market?) and then cover it around 70 mins in if required...

Hmm. How about this:

1st Half double chance - Juventus & Draw @ 8/15 (see what I did there)
Covered with an In play bet along the lines of
1st Half - City to score first @ 6/5

Obviously both lose if Juve score first then City score 2 in the first 45 minutes.
Apart from that scenario you're looking at either £13.33 or £30 profit (or both if City score first then concede within 45 minutes)

But mainly I don't want to be staring at my phone whilst in my seat at the Amex, so if I go for it it's going to have to be something 'low maintenance' if that makes any sense.

Cheers @Simster.

Good shout. A low maintenance option is even goals scored at 5/6, covered in the first minute by >0.5 goals. If it is 0-0, you win 20 quid, if an odd number of goals, you win just two quid. Any result and it's a 22 quid profit.

Only issue is if >0.5 goals come up that early in play - quite often (on bet365 anyway) you don't tend to see that being available until almost half time, sometimes 60 minutes.

Edit: ignore that comment, just looked and three different matches and it does seem to be available right at the start, must admit I tend to look at matches towards half time for the >0.5

Could do Team to score first - Back Citeh at 1.57 then in play back Juve at 2.88. Just means covering the no goal scorer (8.5 on Ladbrokes) elsewhere.

Citeh score first nets £14.25 and Juve Score first nets £22.

I've just realised I've bolloxed up my analysis. [emoji38]ol:

The second bet is risk free, not the first. So the risk free bet needs to *cover* the first. Clearly the risk free odds of >0.5 goals do not cover a potential £25 loss on my first bet if there are an odd number of goals!

I did a version of this but also bollocksed up in that there is no in play HT first goal.

So my covering bet was City to score first. As it happens BOTH came in.

Which was nice.

You're owed a pint Simster x

I did the 25% thing (deposited £200 got £50 bonus) after some research just cos I saw some good value this weekend. Did some research and they said you use the cash amount first then the bonus. Bonus appeared instantly (wasn't meant to appear til after I'd wagered initial deposit. Anyway I did £80 ish in Everton (doh) same in Hull (yes!) and a cheeky double which included Leicester (£17 ish) and quickly put the £50 bonus in Aguero to score first Monday 3/1. My initial bets returned £210 so £10 profit and I was able to withdraw the whole amount. I still have the £50 bonus bet outstanding in Aguero and I have the £210 back in my bank already (via PayPal) so that's sorted. I can only see 3 options if my Aguero bet lands: a) they pay it in cash and I withdraw the £200 straight away b) they confliscate all winnings as I withdrew or c) I still need to complete the £500 outstanding wagering with the £200 winnings.

Normally it's easy with most bookies to use a bit of common sense to work these things and they can't ask for money back. 365 are probably the most on the ball though so could be tricky. He prob won't score first anyway...!

Just finished playing through the £1300 today and have collected my one-r bonus :moo:

Thanks mate - don't do Laddys myself - was hoping this would be the 365 one :(

I may send a tweet to 365 asking when they're gonna do this offer again though as this has reminded me it's been a fair few weeks :)

Yeah it's definitely not as good as B365, and as Simster says definitely requires a bit more thought (and attention).

But still effectively risk free!

It's not risk free though, that's the issue! With Bet365, your initial >0.5 goals punt is covered with an in-play draw bet - which not only covers your risk, but potentially pays out far higher. Or if a goal goes in before you've even placed your in-play bet, you're free to do what you want with that £50 risk free bet.

With this one, it doesn't really work because the first bet has to be odds of 1.5, so finding a bet that covers it AND potentially yields an even higher return is tricky...

How about:

Pre game - Tottenham+1 @4/7
In Play - Arse to win @11/8 - refunded if it fails.

By my maths that's an dizzying £14 profit if the first comes in and a stonking £9 profit if the second comes in. And one of the two has to come in, unless I've ballsed up?

What is +1 Tottenham? Are you covering a draw? It's 90 minute betting.

Yeah its the result when you add a goal onto Spurs' score, so it covers the draw. I'll see if there are any better options tomorrow at work
