A difficult conundrum.

This is so much harder than you think it’s going to be, particularly if you’re not old enough to include players from less fashionable nations like Yashin and Puskas. I started to think about those kind of outliers from countries not renowned for world class footballing ability, but that left me with the likes of Hagi, Stoichkov, Litmanen and Weah but then you begin to immediately fall down on the club scene.

If this is possible without having at least three non-world class randomers then I salute you!

Trouble is, everything leads to Barca, Real M, Inter and AC Milan.

All those wonderful players from Denmark, Holland, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Serbia seemed to play for them. Restricting options.

Oh sod it! I'm going to have to tell one or two of the guys that they're out. I'm not sure how they'll take it. Some of them have waited all their lives (and a couple beyond the grave) to get into an NSC Select X1!
