I really loved the recent All Quiet on the Western Front. Visceral, terrifying, unflinching and absorbing. Its a masterpiece.

However, the obvious answer is Top Gun: Maverick.

The Korean War sandwiched between World War 2 and Vietnam tends to be forgotten or at least neglected.
Two action films I enjoyed were 'A Hill In Korea" and "The Bridges At Toko-Ri".
