The Aztec Camera version of Jump is a classic - better (by a considerable distance) than the original.

I can think of no other Van Halen songs worth mentioning, either by Van Halen or anyone else.

Not a huge Van Halen fan so i'll have to vote from the guitarist viewpoint. Accordingly i'll plumb for 'Jump' & 'Eruption'.

In respect of Jump its unusual to hear such a technically awesome but sweet little solo in what was a mainstream Top 20 hit.

Eruption is more of your typical metal/rock shred fest but really sets the standard in term of innovative techniques like tapping.

Eddie van Halens greatest guitar solo surely has to be on Michael Jacksons 'Beat It'. Short but incredibly sweet and some more great two handed tapping and whammy bar action. It rocks
