I have only put the Simpson's on occasionally but Only Fools is a classic.

Even when you know what is going to happen it still makes you laugh out loud. A sure sign of a classic.

Has to be the Simpsons - funniest program ever. However, it's also the only truly hilarious US show. We have produced Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Not the Nine OClock News, The Young Ones, Red Dwarf, The Office, Kenny Everett, Phoenix Nights, The Day Today, Alan Partridge, and the list continues.

The Simpsons. Only Fools and Horses had its moments but at the end of the day it was maudlin rubbish that went on far far far too long. And even then they couldn't finish it with them walking off into the sunset - they had to bring it back and make them lose all their money. I don't know if it was any good because I didn't watch it.

Don't EVER moan about American comedies and then tell me OFAH is good.

OFAH by a counry mile, there is someting to laugh about in every scene, the Simpsons can become a little tiresome sometimes.

Can anyone not laugh along with Boycie (?) i think its impossible.

the simpsons is not a family comedy, i'd say for 30 somethings downwards.

you cannot compare the two.

Couldn't agree more. OFAH was superb in its day, but it's day was in 1986. The Simpsons has been consistently good whereas OFAH has resorted to trotting out piss poor gravy train christmas specials for about 6 years.

OFAH was good until they brought it back (2001) without buster murrayfield ! - now they are really poo , and simpsons (new episodes ) are a bit iffy - very rarely get a good one now ! - i'm saying that as a huge fan of both !
