I must admit to having never had a Belgian Beer that I liked but having said that I probably do not even know the name of many.

Classic BG. Can I ask how many you have tried and if you have ever drunk any Belgian beers whist actually being in Belgium?

the battle of waterloo site is interesting-about half hour on the train,and a dirt cheap rail fare. The metro is excellent and cheap.The atomonium is interesting....and although a matter of personal taste,the beer is f****** amazing

The beer. But as said above, both Brugge and Ghent are way nicer places overall. Would recommend them ahead of Brussels.

yeh there are nicer places in Belgium- but obviously recommend the beer

try the Delirium cafe which seems to have an infinite amount of choice. Went there for my stag do and got absolutely smashed
