Also voted for Moran. He's quality, manages to take the piss out of plenty of stuff without managing to have a bitter bone in his body, unlike Minchin or Hicks.

Agreed. Minchin is the least funny in this whole competition. Comes across bitter, snide, smug and a massive hyppocrite.

Hicks started something that overhauled comedy and is still seen to this day. He brought politics to the mainstream and questioned things that nobody else was daring to question at the time. He may not have actually been the funniest comedian ever, but he had more impact than any other. If he doesn't win the group then it's all fixed.

Hicks may have been very clever, very influential and ahead of his time, but he rarely actually MADE ME LAUGH, which is the MAIN job of a comedian, for me.
