I used to love the Goldstone Ground. One of the best things about it was that you could exit it quickly and get away.

The current situation at the Amex is problematic.

I would caveat that with the fact that a lot of time has passed since then and traffic will be busier now than then making a direct comparison hard.
I would expect leaving the goldstone in this day and age would be harder than back in the 90s.
