When did you last take the A1M? All the roundabouts went years ago - it's just a dual carriageway now. The biggest pain are all the HGVs trying to overtake each other.

Haha a looong time ago and have avoided it ever since.

Depending on which part of Yorkshire you're going to, the A1m can be just as good a bet as the M1, and not much difference in time.

It's dual carriageway for many miles, clogged up with lorries two abreast.
The M1 doesn't finish at Leeds any longer, but ties up with the M62, M621, and the A1M.
