In a pile of football shirts
The goal end stands in any ground are the worst in terms of perspective/foreshortening when the ball's up the other end, and so unless there's an exceptional atmosphere at those ends/they are where the vocal fans are going to group, then the only real attraction of going north or south at the Amex would be seeing goals scored up close surely?

Each to their own. If I can, I will always go behind the goal, wherever I go to watch football, always did at the Goldstone, always try to at away games, did at Withdean for a couple of years. The attraction? well I'm not quite sure if it is just to see goals scored up close, but if I remember rightly the Stretford End, The Anfield Cop, The Holte End, The Shed, The North Bank, The Spion Kop, The North Stand, all quite popular stands with the fans, all have tended to be behind the goal.

That is simply because historically, they have been the cheapest stands to enter and were capabale of taking the most spectators
