Botany Bay (north) Broadstairs (my new emoji was a carving on a chalk wall around those parts), and Rye Harbour (low tide only - but low tide is half the time there).

I like Camber but only when on my own and on the bicycle so I can park afar and swim away from the gammon.

There is an equivalent to Rye Harbour (west side of river) in Littlehampton. Called 'rope tackle' or somesuch. Nobody there....bit inaccessible, but brilliant.

I happen to love the pebble beaches though; Deal, and best of all, Kent North Shore (Herne Bay, Whitstable, Birchington) where high tide swimming is sublime because the water is so warm - and all blue flag now. But that wasn't the OP question so I'll boil my head.
