Charlie Gillett when he used to be on BBC London. He opened my ears to so much good music from all over the world. Sadly, he died a month or so ago.

Danny Baker, then Peter Allen, different styles, but fantastic. I also like Fi Glover.

Spot on! Fi Glover was superb on late-night radio and is the best reason to listen to Saturday morning radio 4 - she was the only one to come away from that ridiculous Nicky Campbell / Victoria Derbyshire embarrassment with any dignity.

Adrian Chiles morning show was unmissable a few years back; Johnny Vaughn on the original Fighting Talk, likewise; I was a big fan of Simon Mayo, but that doesn't seem to be a popular choice in these 'ere parts.

Dover called it from the off. Danny Bakers show is an ESSENTIAL podcast for me every week, and Peter Allen is just quality. Love his wry "hmmmm's "

I also think Comedy Steve does a damn good job with his interviews. Thoughtful questioning and an easygoing manner with a few laughs.

Yep, Danny Baker every time.
Chris Evans creeps into 2nd place for making me finally realise i don't HAVE to listen to Brazil & Irani any more.

Can't stand Allens nasal tones.
My favourite has to be James O'Brian on LBC

Valid point, The Ginger Whinger has upped his standards in the last few years and is a quality broadcaster. I used to listen to Brazil but lost interest after they parachuted Irani in. I think that Talksport need to realise that you can't just create a sporting broadcaster by signing up a big name ex sportsman, ref, Gough and Wright.. Irani is awful.

On a positive thought, it has to be Baker and Allen for me. Baker is required listening on saturday mornings and quite often I am almost crying with laughter. Peter Allen is a fantastic serious broadcaster who has a great style and asks some awkward questions with a wry style.

Richard Bacon is awesome...

 He's built a career impersonating Alan Partridge! Did you hear him interviewing Phillip Pullman last week? Awful & embarrassing! Pullman ended up talking to him like he was a child.

I actually think Tony Livesey is very good. Natural and genuine. As is Colin Murray who spoke to my son on Five Live a few weeks ago about scoring flukes in a football match.

Two words for Bacon and Stephen Nolan: Talk. Sport.

Moyles, the only person/show I actually make sure I tune in for. If around Zane Lowe does a good job.
