I like crown and anchor, 2 pool tables, but never very busy in there. Don't fancy the gildridge then?

Being in Eastbourne I'm stuck with 2 pubs that come to mind where I am. The Crown and Anchor and The NutHouse

Not a fan of either of them to be honest. But I might actually go NutHouse if their showing it.

Natalie in The Station at Preston Park is treating it like a home game.
Proper beer, proper grub, decent screen. Albion pub.
No better place to watch - except St Mary's.

Do they still sell porn in the toilets? Haven't been there for a while.

Why do you want to buy some?
Its a proper pub. Can't promise you the porn, but its all female behind behind the bar.

Jeff knows he will be making alot of money off us if my family go there for that game.

I might pop in there if there's going to be a fair few people in there.

And, how old is your brother? As I noticed you said he wouldn't be allowed in the gilly.

Is the eastern European barmaid still there? It is just my local about a 4 min walk from me awful i have hardly been there.

Actually I might turn up Sunday or I'll be fighting a 2 year old for control of the tele

I can't get to the game Sunday due to work in the morning.

Just wondering what the best pub is for watching the Albion and getting a decent atmosphere? I went to the Queens Head last year for the JPT Southern Final but it was pants, only about 3 people actually watching the game.

I have been told the King & Queen or Walkabout but am not convinced.

Any ideas?

Best pub i've found so far to watch the footie is the Queensbury Arms just off Regency Square. Small tv and with a quieter older clientelle. But prompt service at the bar.

Maybe I just got lucky:lol:

Good, I'll probably go in to watch it then! Hopefully a good atmosphere.

I have never checked their work permits, but they are all fit and capable of pouring you a decent beer with the very minimum of fuss.
Home made pizza too. - I ought to be on commission!

Thanks Greens :(
I once watched a BHA Sky game in The Grovenor Casino by Pool Valley. 42" plasma screen to myself, quick service at an empty bar, as everyone else was too busy losing their money

Im hoping to watch the game at The Font in the North Lanes as this is where I watch the majority of football games on TV. Anyone else going to be there?
