Angelo Anastasio.

He played for Italy in either the 70 or 74 World Cup, little midfielder with curly bouffant. When he retired from footie he went on to become the lead Adidas USA rep in the late 70s.

I played against him in a Charity match in Los Angeles in 1980, my last year at high school there. He was bl00dy good, but the best bit? I nutmegged him. Twice.

Albion legend Peter O'Sullivan in his pomp. I used to play on Sunday mornings at Preston Park with the staff and waiters of Al Forno/Al Duomo in the late 70s-early 80s, usually them against a pick-up team of friends and regular customers. A lot of Mullery's team went to the restaurants, and Sully was wandering past once and joined in on the waiters' team for five minutes, in jumper and jeans, with ordinary street shoes.

Sully, as you'll recall, had many attributes, including fantastic passing accuracy, but he never looked particularly fast. So when a ball dropped between us, about 60-40 in my favour, I had no doubt that I'd get there before him. Except that by the time my foot arrived where the ball had been, Sully had taken it ten yards past me and was bearing down on goal. Appearances can be deceptive...

Played against Sam Mott a lot as we went to school together.

Last season we was first choice at Welling as they won the Conference South. He has now signed for East Thurrock to get more game time as they signed a new first choice

He was amazing when we were younger and the reason I changed from being a keeper to a striker as I couldn't displace him in the school team! I am proud he has played a couple for England C as it means I have scored against an England international 'Keeper!

Played against Tiltman and Chris Punter. Remember Punter playing for West Chiltington on a Sunday morning and was so much better than everyone else on the pitch. Unfortunately he knew it and was a really cocky *******. For the return match, we held a whip round and agreed to pay the fine for whoever got sent off for bringing him down a peg or two. Turned up to find he wasn't playing that day!

Was that in his Mile Oak Sunday days? Was a fair few years after he had stopped playing at pro level but you could still see what a class player he was.

That sounds like Chris Punter!

I remember one time he weaved he's way through a packed penalty box with the goal at his mercy, he then turned around and took them all on again, and scored.

I think he was entitled to be a really cocky *******!

 delighted you mentioned me and not @Chesney Christ. He'll love that. That Eastbourne Borough player is NOT BAD.

Your brother really IS a good footballer. Very intelligent use of the ball, and of space.

I kicked a ball back to Matt le Tissier and kicked a ball to Jimmy Case.

Both in an office at St Marys stadium. Does that count?

He can PING a 50 yarder with ease. Very good player technically.

Pity he hasn't got a brain.... watching that Swansea game last night and he idioticaly gave possesion away on 92 mins with Swans 1-0 up only for the oposition to run up the other end, win a Peno and score with the last kick of the game.
Not the first time i've seen him do that either.... they would have been better with you playing
