It was excellent, but the Reading performance just topped it in my eyes. I thought we were actually pretty good against Newcastle until their fluke of an equaliser
What impressed me the most was that every single person on the pitch contributed in a meaningful way and did their jobs not just sufficiently well but excellently well, and excellently well every time they had something to do. Murray was an absolute rock in the air and won every single header. Every cross from Skalak was pinpoint and threatening. Some of Stephens first time passes under pressure were sublime. Kayal's control and turns were like he'd never been away. Only Stockdale had very little to do but his distribution was spot on as always.
That really was one of the most complete performances I've seen.
