Not really my thing but Lady Gaga has made some very catchy tracks and also written music for loads of other artists too. Timbaland has knocked out some killer toons too innit.

Got to agree with Killers too. Thanks for posting that Streets track too, have not heard that for ages, brilliant :)

On a point of pedantry it was one guy but I agree with you. He is a superb lyricist, and his first album serves touches you in the same way The Specials did. A superb commentary on early naughties life and culture. Weak Become Heroes is one of my fav songs of the past decade. Live, he was awful though. A shambolic tuneless and literal shower of lager.

Subsequent albums went a bit cartoon but we should not forget the lad ballad 'Dry Your Eyes'. Interestingly, I also saw them live a couple of years ago and he has evolved into a very slick and humorous entertainer.

Eminem, he has lost his best friend (rapper proof) who was killed and his an on/off relationship with his wife not to mention an addiction to Sleeping Pills but he has still had 11 singles in the U.K top 5 including 7 number 1 singles. Not to mention bringing D12 to the public eye, the man is a LEDGEND.
