I think you should go for The National's new album High Violet. Really intelligent and catchy guitar music, and they are a lot cooler than listening to "3 pints down your shirt" bollocks like Kasabian.

Also for both the older and younger generation, check out a group called 'Kid British' on YouTube or something. They're the modern day 'The Specials', check out this video. I've done a couple of gigs now, and the stage invasions always happen at the end to this song. Alot of familiar faces in there too, they're getting quite a following in London. Hope they make it big, they've got some quality tunes.
