I'll try and collate the responses to this to give you the definative NSC best live album.

My runners up:

The Who: Live at Leeds. A sonic assault by the best live band of the 70's, driven on by Keith Moon , surely the best drummer of all time.

Hawkwind: The Space Ritual. My first ever gig at the Brighton top rank suite shortly after the issue of Silver Machine (anyone else there?). Came out deaf and thinking 'what the f*** was that?'

But my No.1 live album has to be:

Neil Young: Live Rust. The best of his many live albums. Beautiful acoustic set followed by a furious barrage of grunge. :bowdown:

Have to agree that Live Rust comes close but probably shaded by Babylon By Bus by Bob Marley clip from the same period
