I have talk talk phone and Aol broadband on my PC at home and aol dial up on my laptop, when I work away from home but it cost s best part of £50 a month for both. Have written to talktalk about putting the lot in their basket but I would have got a better response or at least some response had I sent the letter to Man Friday on Treasure Island.

Could I get the broad band on both PC and laptop even though I am away from home by just using an external modem and could I get the lot cheaper from another supplier like tiscali.

Brighton based Fastnet. Broadband is quick 99% of the time and if you do have a problem, the phone is answered within a couple or rings and you are put through to someone who knows what they are talking about (even if I sometimes don't have a scooby) and will talk you through the problem in idiot language if necessary. If they are busy they call back within about 1/2 an hour.

Top company

I am connected as a company and have no idea if they provide a service for individuals, worth a phone call to find out though.

Very likely to become BT Broadband soon enough... not sure if the sale has gone through solid yet, but BT are buying them.
BT have bought them, but apparentely BT are going to run it as a separate entity (for the time being) as Plus Net is for the "discerning Broadband user".

Just saved £20 a month switching from Pipex (DON'T TOUCH THEM WITH A SHITTY STICK) to Orange. Just £5 a month (in addition to mobile contract) with unlimted anytime free landline calls and free calls to Orange. Can;t be bad.
