That was the 1st home game but the season started a week earlier with a 1-1 thriller at the Dell.

It did.Didn't John Ruggiero score his only goal for the Albion? I remember it more for hearing, on the way home, that Groucho Marx had died.

I must say that the 0-4 defeat by Arsenal stands out for me. Crap result but I just couldn't believe we were in the big time
