Actually, I’m going to retract my earlier winner nomination and go with this. How? Why? I’d forgotten, I don’t know. Winner winner, chicken dinner. My god those opening credits are so sinister looking back. No wonder it was only shown after 10.30pm news. It positively reeks of 1980s crime infested, lawless, ‘deathwish’ New York, a city no right minded tourist would ever visit for fear of being MURDERED which was practically guaranteed as every cop show viewer knew! Forget Rudy Giuliani, we all know it was a Brit that ended the crime wave. Step forward, Edward Woodward…
