Trying to compile a world’s best fielding eleven past and present not including wicket-keepers

Jonty Rhodes
AB Villiers
Paul Collingwood
Kohli
Jadeja
Eoin Morgan
Glenn Maxwell
Chris Jordan
Herschel Gibbs
Ricky Ponting
Ben Stokes

Other notables include Steve Smith, Joe Root, Derek Randall, Graeme Smith, Lance Klusner, Jacques Kallis, Ian Botham.

Is there any others that should be on the list?

I'd add David Gower to the list and, from a Sussex perspective, Paul Parker was an outstanding cover fielder. His run out of Geoff Marsh, when Sussex beat the 1989 touring Australians in a one day game was exquisite.

Paul Phillipson at Sussex was pretty nifty.

Former Sussex overseas player Dwayne Smith.

Regularly took amazing catches and had one of the strongest/fastest arms that caused many run outs when batsmen thought there was an easy extra run available.

Jonty Rhodes was head and shoulders above anything in his era but fielding standards are so much improved in the last 20 years. I'd be really interested to see how good he is, in the modern day.

Bavuma, Cam Green, Carberry. Probs not top 10 but really good. Green in the gulley is so good!

Who was the West Indian that we had for a while at Sussex? Around 5-10 years ago. All rounder, mainly played one day stuff but maybe a few county games. He was excellent.

Any list which does not include Colin Bland is a bit of a joke. Considered the greatest fielder of all time by many.
Yeah, not having Bland in a team of greatest fielders is a bit like not including Pele in an all time best football team: the guy was a freak
