Well someone has to add this one to the thread.
To be honest, I love all of the Motown Chartbusters. I just picked Volume 4 at random.It's very good, but because of 'This Old Heart Of Mine (Is Weak For You) and 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine', I'd prefer Volume 3. (Or Motown Gold, but then we're probably into best box sets)

The best of Fleetwood Mac, but the original 1960's incarnation. Man of the World, Green Manalishi, Need Your Love so Bad, Albatross.
I recently bought a greatest Hits album of Georgie Fame - going back to the Blue Flames days. They were pretty good
I bought a sampler album of Island Records in 1970 called Bumpers. It was pretty good!
