If you like 'done to death, could happily never hear that track again as long as I live music' then it's thread closed.

For the rest of us and Uncle Spielberg there's East 17

I actually admitted to @Buzzer this is my favourite Chrimbo song. My mates would crucify me

Any Christmas playlist of mine will always include the same 10 must haves.

Fairy tale of New York - Pogues
Christmas Wrapping - Waitresses
Stop the cavalry - Jona Lewie
Merry Christmas - Slade
Santa baby - Eartha Kitt
The Christmas Song - Nat king Cole
Peace on Earth/Drummer boy Bowie/Crosby
War is over - John lennon
Driving home for Christmas - Chris Rea

But If I'm allowed just one then it's got to be:

I believe in Father Christmas - Greg Lake.

I actually admitted to Buzzer this is my favourite Chrimbo song. My mates would crucify me

And a bloody good tune it is too.

"Baby, if you've got to go away. Don't think that I can take the pain. Won't you stay another day?"

If you have ever sung carols, this...Just sublime and as most serious carols, a horrible message.

There is also a carol, I will try and find it which foretells what is coming for the child.

Most carols are not happy jolly jingle bells at all.

We sung this a couple of years ago and had a basso profundo from the Russian embassy singing the part.

I was stood two rows in front of him and I could feel the vibration from his voice in my chest...a really wierd experience but it was absolutely magical.
