Unfortunately I can report the front brake on this bike was a fashion accessory hence up and over someones car and a broken scaphoid circa 1981.....

This fracture does come in very useful nowadays If I need to know if it is raining or not - OUCH........

Cars are just transport for me but I had many bikes in my youth.

Best was an ex- John Newbold RG500 Suzuki [arm-chair racer] but sponsor could not afford to run in for more than a season so switched to Trevor Nation's SuperStox wining GSX-R 750 - both pedigree bikes in their time ... [mid-eighties]

Probably worth a few bob now people are collecting Japanese Classics?

Nothing as exotic but had a few Kawasaki Triples (250/400/500) and RD Yamahas (240/400 and 250/350LCs) in my two-stroke yoof in the 1980's - I really should have held on to at least one of them!

I've only ever owned one car and that was a New Beetle. If I had to buy another car I would either buy another New Beetle or a Merc. I'm not one for cars but I was strangely won over when I went to the Mercedes Museum a short while back.

But did it do what it was designed for?

A. Pull birds

B. Make you look like a hairdresser

Very nice bike.I never got round to doing my test.It was a toss up between the Ninja or the CBR Fireblade.

Isn't that a bit like saying I wanted to drive a Formula 1 Car and couldn't decide between Ferrari and Mclaren but I never got round to actually being a Racing Driver?

The 2nd version of the Toyota MR2.
I loved the 'cockpit' I sat in, which they didn't continue for the newer ones.
