I can confirm both the quavers and wotsits multipacks in the cupboard under the stairs have bb dates that are Saturdays (19/3 and 9/4 respectively)

Someone told me the reason just recently, its so supermarkets only have to do stock checks once a week, so often the crisps are being thrown away and would be perfectly edible for another 6 days
