I have both the High Tide albums on Liberty from 1969 on vinyl. I paid about one pound fifty in 1974. Fifteen years ago they were avertised for £500 each.

And, no, they are not for sale.

Lorus automatic movement watch £12 in 2004 from a Cash Convertors.

Got a much 'better' watch but this is the one what wins in every watch way each and every day

Why that's about 441504000 seconds for £12.

You do the math.

Maths. It's maths. :lolol:

A case of ‘45 Haut Brion and a case of ‘45 Mouton Rothschild at £100/case.

And....how well did they enhance the flavour of your salted chips?

A couple of years ago, while clearing out a kitchen cupboard, I was delighted to find an unopened jar of pickled onions. Made my day.

:lolol: but what was the best before date on the jar - 2005?

A large Samsonite suitcase. I took a load of stuff round the tip in Lewes where they have a little hut selling stuff, cost me £3 and there's nothing wrong with it.

Did the same thing last September and bought a medium sized Samsonite suitcase again in GWO only a quid.

What is it with Lewes and Samsonite cases

It is both actually, mathemetics is a collective noun like ecoustics
Math or maths is really an abbreviation either way if you are British it's generally referred as maths
Personally I always thought that
2+2 = math
2+3+3 = maths
would make more sense

No worries. I was just being a tit. :lolol:

What's the best bargain you've ever found?

The best bargain I ever found hmmm
Well when I worked for the benefits agency and it was traditional to have a whip round when you left. Well it my leaving do that evening and they had chipped in about 20 quid. Manager got called into a meeting so couldnt go and get me anything so gave me the envelope and said go buy something and I'll present it to you

So I walked into town and bumped into an old mate who was an avid and professional shoplifter. So I said to him here's a fiver go and get me something with a face value of 19.99

1 WHSmiths later I had a Red Dwarf book (I wasnt really a big fan he just chose it as it was the correct size for him and the right RRP)

So 15 quid up, box of cigs and a round of drinks covered and a free book which I never did read

Does that count?
