Best for me would be knocky, Vicente or Zamora (first spell)

Worst for me is possibly Joe gatting! Just frustrated me how bad he was during the mid withdean/Wilkins era (and let's face it we had a lot of bad players then). Also who was that overweight Dutch midfielder we had a few seasons ago from Swansea? Was it Kemmy Augustien? I honestly wondered how he ever became a pro footballer!

I just don't get how anyone can have their worst player from the Amex era, the lower league days of the 1970s had some players who weren't even bad at their best.
Anyway here goes - best maybe Ian Mellor - ward was nothing without him.
Worst too many to think of through so many years. Maybe early Johnnie Crumplin? (He got much better as the years went on). But Graeme Smith is right up there as a recently modern "player"

Worst was a Russian (maybe?) that we had on loan from Arsenal at Priestfield.

According to NSC, Ashley Barnes was both simultaneously the best and worst player to wear the stripes :lolol: #marmite

Vicente is hands down the BEST footballer that ever played for Brighton. Not the best performer (over any length of time) actually FOR the Albion, but he was utterly blessed with an incredible talent. Astonishing that he played here at all, frankly.
B
Justin Hoyte never played for Brighton.

The worst performance I saw from an Albion player - and its the only time I saw him play for the club - was Wes Fogden, away at Cheltenham. A boy in a men's game. Hopelessly out of his depth.

Whilst it may have been the worst performance, I think it's a bit harsh to categorise a teenager just out of the youth team as your worst player ever. You can't have seen enough games.
